Jeremiah 20:1-13, Proverbs 18:21, Psalm 109: 30-31
Like Jeremiah, we must:
1.Be honest – He told God how he felt.
2.Be obedient – He continued doing what he had been called to do.
Five questions:
1.Is there confirmation from God and by others?
2.Are instructional shepherding and leadership abilities evident?
3.Is there a longing to serve God with one’s whole heart?
4.Is there a lifestyle of integrity? Ministry is more about being than it is about doing?
5.Is there humility?
3.Be watchful – He knew that the Lord was with him.
4.Be worshipful – He praised God with his whole heart.
Praise does four things:
1.It recognizes a Provider.
2.It acknowledges a plan.
3.It accepts the present.
4.It releases the power.
