Scriptures: Hebrews 12:1-4

DO YOU KNOW THESE FELLAS?

10 Observations

1. Faithful men and women of God have gone before us and have shown us the way.
2. We can find ourselves wrapped up in sin, making quite a nice mess of things, so we need to make every effort to throw it off.
3. We are to run, not walk, the race set before us, all the way to the finish line.
4. Jesus is our source. If we keep our eyes locked onto Him, our faith will be perfect. and if we look elsewhere, well…?
5. Jesus joyfully fulfilled  His purpose in coming to Earth –Death for the redemption of our sin and Resurrection from death so that we will have eternal life!
6. Jesus sits at the right hand of God the Father to intercede on our behalf.
7. We need to seriously consider what Jesus did for us.
8. A deep, growing relationship  with Jesus will sustain us. We will therefore be strengthened and encouraged.
9. Not one of us has yet done enough to resist sin.
10. Fortunately, God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to shed His blood for us – this work of mercy and grace can set us free from the law of sin and death.
