We Believe

God Is … Timeless, sovereign, merciful, just, perfect, holy, worthy of praise and honor, and beyond our ability to describe. He is existent in three persons, the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:1; Matt. 3:17)

God Spoke … The world into existence and breathed life into humanity. (Gen. 1)

God Watched … As His own image rejected His instruction and chose to walk away from Him. (Gen. 2; Rom. 3:23)

God Wrote … His own words – the Bible – for our instruction and correction. His Word is whole, faultless, and entirely inspired by Him. (II Tim. 3:16)

God Sent … His own Son, Jesus, to take the sins of the world upon Himself and carry the penalty for sin’s curse…death. (Jn. 3:16; Phil. 2:5-11; Matt. 26-28)

God Removed … The debt and stain of sin from humanity by being crucified on a cross. (Rom. 8:1-2; Eph. 2)

God Rose … From the grave on the third day bringing hope for all the world that we could be reconciled to God. (Matt 28)

God Gives … Us a choice. To receive His gift of grace and salvation and to spend the rest of eternity with Him in Heaven; or to reject Him, depending on our own merit or choices to save us, forever separating us from His presence and spending eternity in Hell. (Rom. 6:23)

God Resides … In the heart of every person who puts their faith in the work of Christ on the cross – salvation by grace, through faith; the Holy Spirit residing in us is our “down-payment” for the hope of life forever with God. (Eph. 1:13-14)

God Equips … Each of His disciples through the work of the Holy Spirit – equipping them with gifts, abilities, and all that they need to live a Godly life. (Jn. 14:15-30; Acts 2; II Cor. 12,14; Acts 1:8; II Pet. 1:3)

God Calls … Us to be diligent to make new disciples and share the hope we have with others so that He might reconcile many hearts to Himself. (Matt. 28:19-20; II Cor. 5:17-21; Ps. 40:1-3)

God Dwells … In the praises of His people and delights in the details of their lives. He is a loving Father who gives good gifts to His children. (Zech. 3:17; Matt. 7:9-11; Ps. 22:3)

God Will … Return to earth to take His children home to Heaven with Him. We eagerly await the day that we see Him face to face! (Jn. 14:1-3; Rev. 22:12-13)
