Scriptures: Colossians 2:9-15

Jesus is our hero because…

1. He is God’s representative (verse 9)
2. He is over every power and authority (verse 10)
3. He has freed us from the sinful nature (verse 11)
4. He was resurrected from the dead (verse 12)
5. He raises us from death to life (verse 13)
6. He forgave our sins, nailing them to the cross (verses 13-14)
7. He disarmed the powers and authorities, triumphing over them by the cross (verse 15)
