7 Lessons from Jesus’  Walk on the Water

1. Pray First
    Jesus could have gone with them, but He took the time, 
    alone, to pray.
2. Trust Jesus even when Things are Against You
     The disciples were in a boat that was being “buffeted by the      
     waves 
3. Don’t be Surprised, or Afraid when Jesus Shows Up
     When the disciples saw Jesus coming towards them,
     they were terrified.
4. Jesus is Always With Us, there is No Need to Fear
     Jesus spoke encouragement to them, saying to them, “Don’t be         
     afraid.”
5. When We Try, and Fail, Jesus Will Catch Us
     Jesus caught Peter by the hand, and challenged him to grow his    
     faith
6. Jesus’ Presence Always brings Peace
     Once Jesus was in the boat, the wind calmed down.
7. Our Response to Jesus should Always be to Worship Him
     The disciples’ response was to worship Jesus
